Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi
Upon arrival at the airport in Nairobi, you will be received by our company representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel or you can go on an excursion to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Meal Plan: (Lunch, Dinner).
Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Proceed to the domestic airport and take a picturesque trip to Amboseli in the south. Offering an ideal location for wildlife photographers, this national park presents herds of elephants, hippos, and elegant giraffes against the striking backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. While travelling to your lodge, you can see wildlife. Take a game drive in the afternoon after lunch.
Day 3: Full Day Amboseli National Park Experience
A entire day to spend exploring Amboseli’s vast plains, wetlands, and swamps. You will have the option of either a full day or separate morning and afternoon game drives, depending on your choice of lodging.
Day 4: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Take a morning light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Later head out on an afternoon of game viewing.
Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara where you will be sure to spot vast animal species including the famous wildebeests. You can choose to take a hot air balloon flight to see this incredible region from the air.
Day 6: Return to Nairobi – Departure
Return by plane to Nairobi in order to continue on. If you are planning a beach vacation, find out from your adviser if there are direct flights to Mombasa or Malindi.
