In Rwanda, gorilla tracking takes place in the country’s northwest, in the Volcanoes National Park. The park was initially gazetted as a small area in 1925, with Mikeno, Karisimbi, and Visoke as its boundaries. The Rwandan mountain gorilla tracking safaris are the main draw of Volcanoes National Park. With the exception of the renowned golden monkey visit and the Dian Fossey walk, all gorilla safari trips in Rwanda take place here, making Parc Volcanoes the country’s most popular safari park. For this and more information about Rwanda, the country of a thousand hills, reserve today for our 3-day gorilla trekking safari.
