Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Kigali – Akagera National Park
After you arrive at Kigali International Airport, our driver/guide will meet you for a brief meeting at your Kigali hotel. Proceed to Akagera National Park in the east of Rwanda. The diverse landscape of Akagera National Park protects both animals and species that are exclusive to the papyrus wetlands, such the endangered Shoebill Stork and Sitatunga. Elephant, buffalo, topi, zebra, waterbuck, roan antelope, and eland are among the notable plains game species. The bohor reedbuck, duiker, oribi, klipspringer, bushbuck, and impala are among the other antelope. When you arrive, go on a brief game safari to see and photograph wildlife while you check in. Stay the night at the lodge after dinner.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise
Breakfast is served at 6.30 am, and by 7 am, the game drive gets underway. Catching the early birders and hunters heading back to their hideouts is a fantastic opportunity. Great wildlife sightings are to be expected, including views of lions, baboons, warthogs, bushbucks, topi, oribis, and leopards among elephants, buffalos, giraffes, gazelles, and impalas. Following more than three hours of fantastic wildlife viewing, you will make your way to the lodge for lunch.
You are going to have a boat excursion on Lake Ihema following the lunch break. More wildlife sightings are possible throughout the boat journey, especially of marine creatures like crocodiles and hippos, which are also visible from a safe distance. Around 500 different bird species can be found in high concentration around the lake, some of which include the jacanas, ibis, gonolek, shoebill storks, and herons. You return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay following the thrilling boat excursion.

Day 3: Wildlife Game Drive – Return to Kigali – Departure
Get up at 6.30 am for breakfast, check out by 7 am, and begin a second game drive. Anticipate seeing more amazing characteristics that define Akagera National Park in addition to an increase in the number of games you play. Following the wildlife drive, we head to Kigali city, where you can either be dropped off or have your luggage returned to the airport in time for your departure.
