4 Days Ngorongoro, Manyara and Tarangire Safari

Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

This morning we will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast and take you to Tarangire National Park via a picturesque drive. The park’s natural splendour will treat you to incredible game viewing that you have never seen, and hundreds of animals flock there during the dry season to enjoy the amazing wildlife and bird watching. With lush savannah plains, wetlands, hills, and magnificent baobabs, the terrain is diverse. Elephants are also common during the dry season, as are families with ancient Baobao tree trunks and thorn tree bark stripped of acacia. An unforgettable experience awaits visitors to Tarangire National Park, where they can witness herds of elephants, followed by zebras, buffalos, and oryxes as they venture from the Masai to the park in search of water. A few lions can also be seen prowling around the jungle, searching for unanticipated prey. Tarangire National Park is home to more breeding species of birds than any other place on Earth. The Tarangire River, which is the only supply of water during the dry season, also runs through Tarangire. It never dries up. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Meal Plan: (Lunch. Dinner).

Day 2: Visit Ngorongoro Crater.

Following breakfast, you will take a morning game drive on your way to the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable safari experience. This massive volcanic crater, the crown jewel of Ngorongoro, is the largest intact and unflooded caldera on Earth. One of the crater’s most notable features is Lake Magadi, a sizable but shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner. You will see it after descending to the crater floor. The crater is the largest undamaged crater in the world, measuring 20 km in circumference and 600 m in height. The crater has a salt lake in the middle and is home to an estimated 30,000 big creatures. This is among the world’s animal places with the densest populations.

It’s also the greatest site in Tanzania to witness prides of lion, including the spectacular black-manned males, and black rhino. Numerous vibrant flamingos and an assortment of waterfowl can be seen. Small mammals, antelope family members, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs are among the various game that can be spotted. Alongside the wildlife that call this location home, the Masai and Hadzabe people coexist peacefully. You may get a great view of the magnificent crater and all of its amazing residents from the edge. We will make our way back to your accommodation for the night in the afternoon.

Meal Plan: (Breakfast, Lunch. Dinner).

Day 3: Cultural Tour to the Hadzabe Community

Learn about their extensive understanding of therapeutic plants and methods, demonstrating their dependence on the natural world for survival and health. The sincere conversations and gracious hospitality extended to the Hadzabe people will have a long-lasting effect, promoting intercultural understanding and respect.
