Arusha Town, the starting and finishing point for all Tanzania safari tours in the Northern Tanzania Safari Circuit, is where this three-day safari in Tanzania takes place. Because there are only short distances between the three parks you will see, the 3 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari Tour is an excellent deal for people of all ages. The three-day Tanzania safari, which begins and ends in Arusha, includes visits to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s two most well-known wildlife parks, as well as Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park, a tiny, unique evergreen treasure.

3 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari Tour

Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Pickup in the early morning from Arusha (or Moshi town), then continue driving via Makuyuni Junction and down to Tarangire National Park, over the Masai Steppe. The Tarangire National Park, which is currently Tanzania’s fifth largest park, is home to enormous herds of elephants and astoundingly large Baobab trees. If you enjoy big game viewing in general or jumbos in particular, Tarangire is a must-see location while on an African safari. Numerous animal species, as well as several uncommon bird species and unique breeds like oryxes and hirolas, can be found in the park. We drive out of the park later in the afternoon and check into the magnificent Sangaiwe Tented Camp, which offers breathtaking views over the plains and Lake Burunge in the distance. Alternatively, you may be transferred to Karatu, where you will check into a lodge for the night and dinner.

Meal Plan: (Lunch, Dinner).

Day 2: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater.

Following a leisurely breakfast at your campsite at dawn, you will depart and make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world. After checking in at the Loduare Main Gate, you will take a fantastic game drive inside the Crater and enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Many people refer to the Ngorongoro Crater as one of the world’s wonders. The world’s largest preserved volcanic caldera, known as the “Crater” (which isn’t really a crater) is home to some of Africa’s densest animal populations. Additionally, this is one of the few locations on Earth where one can witness the endangered black rhino in its native environment. With its 2000-foot-high walls, the crater sees very few creatures migrating in and out, so you’re likely to witness lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, numerous birds, and other species. With any luck, your sharp-eyed safari guide can help you sight all five of the Big 5 during a single game drive. You will climb to the crater rim later in the afternoon and check in at a lodge.

Meal Plan: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 3: Visit Lake Manyara – Return to Arusha

On the final day of your three-day safari in Tanzania, enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge (or bring a packed lunch and breakfast). From there, you can descend into the Great Rift Valley floor and visit the Lake Manyara National Park. The Euphorbia tirucalli tree species, which the nomadic Masai people utilise to create hedges to defend their homesteads and livestock, goes by the Maa word “Manyara” in the Masai language. Many of these trees and the tree-climbing lions, which are frequently visible napping in the afternoon on the branches, are the park’s main features. In this evergreen park, sightings of numerous other species are commonplace, including as dik diks, buffaloes, giraffes, and impalas.

As soon as you enter the park, you’ll notice that there’s an evergreen, lush forest that is fed by underground water streams. This makes it the ideal home for animals like blue monkeys, baboons, bush bucks, and enormous elephants that hide in sheds from the afternoon sun and eat the verdant branches, twigs, and herbs. You may see hippos in the hippos pools and at Lake Manyara itself. You can also see aquatic birds including cormorants, pelicans, Egyptian geese, and colourful flamingos. You will drive to Arusha and be dropped off at your hotel there after engaging in game drives till midday. If you are leaving today, we can also drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
